Responsibilities:
Job Overview Privately owned, progressive small animal hospital seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our growing team of amazing Veterinarians and support staff. As a full time Veterinarian you will have excellent work-life balance, working a 32 -hour work week with no after hour emergencies or on-call. Our compensation is Pro-Sal. We offer 30 minute appointments, 1 hour for lunch breaks and extra time at the end of a long shift for reports. We offer in clinic labs, including Procyte One, Catalyst, Invue, and Sedivue. We offer ultrasound, dental radiographs, and digital radiographs with capability to do reviews from radiology specialists. We offer an array of surgeries including spays, neuters, soft tissue masses, abdominal and limited orthopedic procedures. New graduates welcome. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status, utilizing veterinary terminology and clinical skills. Diagnose medical conditions through laboratory testing, imaging, and physical assessments, applying knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments tailored to individual animals’ needs while ensuring proper animal restraint and handling. Provide emergency veterinary critical care when required, managing acute cases with expertise and composure. Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, pet grooming, nutrition, and ongoing health maintenance to promote responsible pet ownership. Maintain accurate medical records using veterinary software systems and ensure compliance with all safety protocols. Assist in laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment that adheres to all health regulations and safety standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Practical experience in performing diagnostic procedures within a veterinary setting. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and diagnostic tools used in veterinary medicine. Excellent communication skills for educating clients about pet care practices effectively. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining compassionate patient care. Qualifications
