Responsibilities:
Provide routine elective scheduled and emergency equine health care, including inoculations, dental care and prophylaxis, sports medicine and lameness diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
VMD or DVM with passing score on the NAVLE and eligibility to become licensed or currently licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Florida.

Salary:
Base salary of $100,000.00 per year plus percentage bonus of collected gross income.
Percentage Based Salary Info:
The percentage bonus is calculated from the gross, collected income required to pay the base salary. Collected gross income over this amount is multiplied by a percentage (17-24% based on the veterin

Case Load:
The caseload is widely varied consisting of Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Standardbreds, Arabians and various other breeds. The majority of horses in the practice are involved in English Spot Horse disciplines, but Western riding, barrel racing and combined driving area also popular. The demographic in this area is affluent and tends to seek and afford excellent and complete veterinary services for their horses.

The practice provides primary, secondary and referral services based from a well-equipped complete hospital setting. All ambulatory vehicles are fully equipped with digital radiography and ultrasonography equipment. Portable video endoscopic (including gastroscopic) equipment is available. Equipment for production and treatment with Platelet-Rich Plasma, ProStride, BMAC, stem cells, as well as Extracorporeal Shockwave, Class III and IV laser and Function Electrical Stimulation is present.
