Responsibilities:
We take great care of our patients and each other. At The Village Vets Plymouth Meeting, we pride ourselves on a collaborative, intelligent environment that values high-quality medicine, strong client relationships, and a healthy balance of hard work and a happy life. We almost ALWAYS leave on time (depending on time it takes to write records). We encourage preventative medicine and can respond to sick, urgent and emergent care needs. We perform routine and non-routine surgery, and dentistry regularly in-office. We have several emergency and specialty hospitals within 5-20 miles of our hospital, as well as two urgent care vet hospitals. Responsibilities include seeing appointments daily, doing surgeries 1-2 mornings a week, being available for clients to call/email/text, reporting lab results of your patients (and other doctors' patients when necessary).
Qualifications
VMD/DVM or equivalent Licensed in PA Comfortable with medical cases, surgery (or open to learning!) Good communication skills Interest in dentistry a plus

Salary:
Base salary + 21% compensation (depending on experience and house). Average hours between 32-40. Salary range $80,000-120,000 + percentage depending on experience.

Case Load:
About 13-20 appointments per doctor per day- mix of wellness, sick/urgent care and occasional emergency, occasional drop-off. On surgery days- between 3-5 surgeries in the AM (depending on experience), appointments in the afternoon

Newer practice (5 years old), all new equipment. In-house chemistry/CBC/UA/cytology/SNAP tests. Digital x-ray, ultrasound. Separate dental suite.
