Responsibilities:
Primary case responsibility on high-acuity emergency and critical care patients, with oversight and guidance from senior criticalists. Broad surgical exposure in emergency procedures under supervision of board-certified surgeons. Didactic and clinical teaching opportunities for interns and technical staff. Weekly rounds, M&M discussions, and journal club participation to reinforce learning and clinical reasoning. Research support: An annual research fund plus mentorship for completing and publishing a first-author manuscript in accordance with ACVECC requirements.
Qualifications
Educational Background Graduate of an AVMA-accredited or recognized veterinary college. Graduates of non-AVMA-accredited schools are also eligible if they have passed NAVLE, PAVE, or ECFVG and are authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program. Experience Requirements Applicants must have completed at least one of the following prior to the program start date: A one-year rotating internship, or A one-year specialty internship (preferably in Emergency and Critical
