Responsibilities:
Wellness exams, sick visits, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and emergency cases Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, injuries and illnesses Advising clients on best care practices throughout different life stages Conduct all appropriate diagnostic tests Communicate effectively with pet owners about diagnosis, treatments options and preventative care Collaborate with team members to provide the best possible care for each patient Quality of life and End-of-life consultations with owners.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent) Pennsylvania veterinary medical license Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude A compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care

We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian.. You will be responsible for all aspects of veterinary medicine: routine exams, sick visits, surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, urgent and emergency care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate with animals and clients, out-going with staff and have a strong desire to stay long-term and grow within a supportive practice. We strive to practice modern medicine and have all the tools required to do so: Digital x-ray, two high speed dental units, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, three bovie electrosurgical units, one surgical vessel sealing device, surgical laser, therapeutic laser and more... We also employ a boarded traveling surgeon for orthopedics and more challenging surgical cases.
