The city of Calais and Baileyville has been searching for a Veterinarian ever since Dr. Dewer retired a few years ago. With significant local demand and a growing population, Calais is eager to collaborate with the right professional to meet the pressing needs of our residents. Currently, pet owners face long wait times for appointments and must often travel hours for emergency care—sometimes paying substantial fees for out-of-area services. With Calais situated on the St. Stephen, Canada border, a new practice would serve not only our residents but also offer a prime opportunity to attract clients from both sides of the border.
