Responsibilities:
We consider ourselves a GP+ hospital. We deal with all the normal wellness and preventative cases, but we pride ourselves on offering the best medicine possible. Associates would be expected to build relationships with clients and their pets, while diagnosing and treating multiple cases a day. We offer in house endoscopy, laparoscopy, orthopedics including tplo and internal fracture fixation. New associates would only be expected to perform procedures they are comfortable with, but we are happy to invest in people learning new things.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain license in South Carolina.

Salary:
Base starting at 110k/yr + 10k sign on bonus for new grads.
Percentage Based Salary Info:
Prosal with no negative accrual. Production bonuses are paid out monthly based on the prior months production numbers. Base rate is adjustable based on experience level.

Case Load:
Majority of case load is dogs and cats, but we do see occasional exotics for approved cases. Also have a handful of clients with small ruminants and some wellness cases with equines. Typical day would handle 12-18 appointments or 4-8 surgical cases per vet depending on the procedure.

Additional Comments:
Florence Animal Hospital opened in 2020, so the facility still feels very new. We have 5 exam rooms, 4 treatment tables, dedicated ICU space as well as a larger kennel space for less involved cases. We have a dedicated cat space for felines. We offer laparoscopic spays, as well as other minimally invasive surgeries. We have a vet in house that loves orthopedics and does everything from TPLOs to internal fracture fixations. We offer endoscopy as well as full suite of in-house lab equipment and ultrasound.
