Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and oversee the care of various small animal cases, including routine check-ups and emergency situations
- Conduct routine health exams, diagnostic tests, and surgical procedures, ensuring proper follow-up care
- Foster strong communication with clients while ensuring exceptional patient care, addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Contribute to a supportive and positive workplace culture by mentoring new staff, sharing knowledge, and participating in team-building activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, including veterinary technicians, support staff, and specialists, to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications
Required:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Connecticut
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and foster a collaborative work environment
- Self-driven with a commitment to ongoing professional development and education, actively participating in continuing education opportunities
- Dedicated to nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with bot
