Responsibilities:
Manage and treat a wide range of emergency and critical care cases, utilizing strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, internists, and other specialists, to deliver high-quality patient care.
Communicate effectively with pet owners to guide them through difficult and critical situations, ensuring a compassionate approach to client service.
Contribute to a culture of education by mentoring interns and veterinary support staff, helping them develop their clinical skills.
Maintain accurate medical records, adhering to hospital protocols and ensuring thorough documentation for continuity of care.
Work efficiently in a high-volume setting, demonstrating adaptability and prioritizing patient needs.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent; all state licensing requirements completed
DEA license (state and federal)
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong work ethic.
Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Is compassionate, client-focused, and dedicated to delivering high-quality medicine.
