Responsibilities:
We are looking for doctors who are interested in general practice but would like to pursue a special interest to broaden offerings of the hospitals. Responsibilities include but not limited to: general patient care, vaccinations, minor and major illness care, surgery, dentals, radiology, laboratory analysis, allergy testing, laser therapy and Phovia. A team oriented approach to medical/surgical care, strong interpersonal skills, professional curiosity and a dedication to continuous learning are essential requirements.
Qualifications
DVM/VMD License Required
Licensed to practice in the state of Delaware.

We are a private practice, with two locations in central Delaware. We are seeking small animal veterinarian(s) for either part-time or full-time employment. Veterinarians with all skill and experience levels are welcome. Our sites include an experienced support staff, surgical suites, digital radiology, laser therapy and in house abdominal and cardiac ultrasound. We have an in-house laboratory as well as twice daily pick-up with a referral lab. After hour emergencies are handled by a local emergency center and there is a large specialty center one hour north for referral cases.
Dover, Delaware is the Capital of our state and is home to a large historic community. Just a short drive south to Sussex county you will find several very beautiful beach communities. If you are a city person, Wilmington is to the north in New Castle county and we are just a Day trip away from Philadelphia, Washington DC and NYC.
