Responsibilities:
The Ken-Ton Animal Clinic is seeking one or more associates, full time or part time, for our rapidly growing, privately owned practice just north of Buffalo, NY. Located in the heart of a well-established residential neighborhood, we’re equipped with a dynamic, knowledgeable staff and a well-rounded team of veterinarians serving dogs, cats, and small exotic pets. If you’re a new graduate or up-and-coming veterinary student looking for a welcoming and care-oriented practice with plenty of mentorship to begin your veterinary journey, you’ll be right at home in our relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Associates receive competitive base salaries starting at $100,000.00 per year, with production enhanced bonuses calculated with percentages that escalate every year for the first five years. A signing bonus will be included in offers. A DVM or VMD degree and valid NYS veterinary license (or ability to obtain one) will be required. We have a complete surgical suite, including multiple surgical monitors, as well as a dental suite, complete with a hydraulic dental table and digital dental x-ray. We have a digital x-ray machine, an ultrasound machine, a Class IV therapeutic laser, and more state-of-the-art equipment is being added periodically, based on associate input. We also offer a full in-house Idexx laboratory, and the ability to send out testing and imaging to Idexx and Antech reference laboratories, and multiple universities or independent laboratories. Doctors are encouraged to practice their own individual style of medicine and to share ideas, and we support this by maintaining an above-average ratio of support staff to doctors. We offer a flexible schedule, with no emergency hours, and only occasional Saturday morning shifts. Benefits include health insurance, 401k plan with contribution matching, paid time off, employee discounts, continuing education allowance, and coverage of licensing fees.
