Guardian Veterinary is a progressively evolving, privately owned and operated emergency and specialty small animal hospital with our flagship location in picturesque Brewster, NY. Situated an hour north of Manhattan, Guardian Veterinary offers up both wide open spaces for hiking and apple picking, as well as the hustle and bustle of NYC at your fingertips. Our mission is to provide “Exceptional Care. Without Exception.” Our prodigious team operates in a state of the art 30,000 square foot fully renovated facility. We are one of the few to offer the best surgical suites and are a premier neurology center in New York. Our CEO, Dr. Jason Berg is board certified in Neurology and Internal Medicine. Qualifications
What you will bring to this role:
• Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost
• The desire to continually learn and grow
• Ideally one-year Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, plus at least one to two years of emergency work
• Must to open to working day, overnight, weekends and swing shifts.
• Must be comfortable with minor surgical procedures
