Responsibilities:
Forrest Avenue Animal Hospital is an established, four-doctor, small animal practice located in Dover, Delaware. Whilst being a wonderful city with great access to the beach, we are also a quick 90-minute drive from Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia.
As we expand, a position is available for a full-time veterinarian in our BRAND NEW, 8,000 square foot facility! Our ideal candidate will be thoughtful, compassionate, and provide paramount ethical care to our patients. You will be pursuing an opportunity for collaboration and learning amongst a dedicated, highly skilled, and supportive team. Our caring, encouraging staff are here to help you perform great medicine and provide an exceptional client/patient experience.
Our facilities include updated technology to perform the highest level of veterinary care, including complete access to full in-house lab with specialty support, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental radiography, and companion laser.
Our model associate will be positive, energetic, dedicated and have great communication skills. A negotiated, competitive salary with bonus commission will be offered, as well as a benefits package that includes insurance options, licensing fees, continuing education coverage, and retirement plan. We participate with our local Emergency Center for afterhours care, allowing us to be home with our families on nights, weekends, and major holidays.
