Responsibilities:
Pittsburgh Premier Veterinary Care IS RENOVATING AND EXPANDING!!!
Come join our team as we expand our facility, scope of practice, and staff. We are currently a 2-doctor practice with 6 support staff (3 CVT's). We are located in a stand-alone 3-floor building and are currently practicing out of the ground floor as we renovate the 1st floor. Renovations will include 5 exam rooms, surgery suite, dental area, radiology suite (including ultrasound), and an open treatment room concept. The treatment room will have 4 procedure tables, two of which are mobile, heated dental tables. Once renovations are complete the other floors will be "face-lifted", and the ground floor utilized for rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation equipment includes underwater treadmill, dry tread mill, companion animal laser, and therapeutic ultrasound.
Currently our appointment book consists of a variety of routine surgical procedures, more advanced soft tissue/abdominal surgical procedures, and dental prophy which utilize our hand-held dental radiograph equipment. In-house lab equipment includes IDEXX Catalyst, Procyte, and Sedivue. IDEXX imaging service is used for our digital radiographs. Portable ultrasound unit available for in hospital use in addition to specialty call-in service echocardiogram and full abdominal ultrasounds. We also offer urgent care type appointments as well as sick and well visits. Patients consist mainly of canines and felines, but some exotic animals are seen at doctors' discretion.
Current hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 9am-7pm, and Friday 10am-3pm. No weekends or on call. Urgent care and walk-in hours offered 10am -1pm per doctor discretion. We are looking to expand these hours as we add doctors and staff during and after completion of renovations in June 2024.
All levels of experience are welcome to apply! Interests in surgery, rehabilitation, or exotics are preferred.
