The Equine Fertility Institute is currently accepting applications for a reproductive veterinarian to join our team. Preference will be given to Board Certified or Board Eligible applicants. The practice provides comprehensive care to a diverse clientele of english and western performance, hunter/jumper, dressage, polo, driving, eventing, pleasure and trail horses. We offer routine and specialty reproduction with extensive in house reproductive work including our own onsite ICSI laboratory, freezing/sexing/biopsy embryos, limited reproductive ambulatory services, critical care hospitalization, advanced lameness and surgery, general practice work and 24-hour full emergency referral services. Our practice is known for its high quality care, professionalism, and team atmosphere. There are currently 4 general practitioners, 2 surgeons, and 2 internal medicine specialists. The successful candidate should possess a solid knowledge of equine reproductive medicine, be highly motivated, and be willing to work as part of a team. The position will involve specialized on site reproduction and limited ambulatory reproductive work. Daily tasks include but are not limited to mare management (OPU/TVA and ET donor mares), stallion and mare infertility, BSE, as well as other reproductive tasks. Patient care is an important aspect of our philosophy. We are seeking a candidate with attention to detail, compassion for the animals, and skills to perform quality medicine. Mentorship and training is available to recent graduates. It is important to us that our veterinarians achieve a preferred quality of life balance.
