Responsibilities:
Perform complete physical exams with healthy as well as sick pets. Plan (&/or perform) necessary diagnostics in house or send out to lab - including bloodwork, urinalysis, radiographs and ultrasound. Outline treatment plan for your working differential diagnosis to clients and admit pet.
(Techs and other vets will aid with diagnostics.)
Administer vaccinations and discuss preventive medicine for client education. Puppy / kitten well visits includes teaching clients about good behavior.
Surgeries - spays/neuters, dental extractions, cystotomies, enterotomies, gastrotomies, prophylactic pexy, mass removals, abscesses, anal sacculectomies etc. Will mentor for surgery if needed.
Fill out USDA forms for travel for cats and dogs if accredited.
Special interests in specific areas of medicine or surgery encouraged.
We do stem cell treatment from adipose derived stem cells - willing to train.
Qualifications
VMD or DVM - with license to work in New Jersey.
USDA accreditation a plus.

Salary:
Base 100K with 20% production.

In house labs with CBC, Chemistry, snap, sedivue, cytology , digital xray, ultrasound.
We do Stem cell therapy for arthritis; PRP for ligament injuries; intraarticular injections for arthritis.
Surgeries are currently scheduled for Mondays through Thursdays
We do have Saturday appointments from 9am to 1 pm
