Responsibilities:
With several urgent care and emergency facilities nearby, we do not offer after hours or on-call services. Mentorship will be provided to new graduates. The successful candidate would be responsible for wellness and sick visits as well as routine surgery (feline and canine spays, neuters, growth removals, enucleations). Full time is a minimum of 33 clinical hours per week. You can set your weekly hours. You would be scheduled to work every 4th Saturday (8 am - 12 pm).
Qualifications
VMD or equivalent degree is required.

Salary:
$125,000 base pay of 22% production (base pay or production, whichever is higher, no negative accrual). Base pay is paid bi-weekly. Production is paid monthly.

Case Load:
We see appointments from 730am to 6 pm. Depending on the doctors preference we see 20 minute or 30 minute appointments. We are closed for rounding, patient care, meetings and lunch from 12-130 every day. Depending on the doctors abilities, on surgery days, we do 2 dentals and 4-6 procedures. We leave several appointments open for same day sick visits which usually fill up by 9 am. We are booking one month out for surgeries and 1-2 weeks out for wellness exams.

Additional Comments:
We have in house labwork (Idexx), acupuncture, low level laser light therapy, surgical suite, treatment area, in house digital radiographs, in house ultrasound with telemedicine guidance for ultrasounds, we can get radiology reports within 1-2 hours for radiographs and within 24 hours for ultrasounds. We have 4 exam rooms. We have anywhere from 1-3 doctors on staff any given day. We do soft tissue surgery, no orthopedic surgery at this time.
