Responsibilities:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to join our team as an In-Home Pet Euthanasia Veterinarian. In this position, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. You will be responsible for performing euthanasia procedures in a professional and humane manner while providing emotional support to clients during a difficult time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform euthanasia procedures for pets in the comfort of their own homes
- Educate clients on the euthanasia process and provide emotional support during the procedure
- Ensure that all necessary equipment and medications are properly prepared and ready for use
- Follow all ethical and legal guidelines for the euthanasia process
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients and other members of the team
- Provide referrals and resources for grief support services as needed
- Work as an independent contractor

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and DEA license in the state of practice (PA, NJ, NY)
- Active and unrestricted veterinary license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in small animal practice or related field
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
- Posse

Salary:
We provide fixed-rate payments per appointment, allowing our veterinarians the autonomy to choose their preferred work schedules.
