Responsibilities:
Oversee veterinary technicians and client service representatives. Perform surgeries, such as routine spays, neuters, dental procedures, mass removals, exploratory laparotomies, etc. We are happy to help with any training required. Perform examinations for wellness and vaccine appointments. Perform examinations for sick appointments, oversee appropriate diagnostics, and prescribe medications as needed. Perform examinations for and issue USDA health certificates
Qualifications
VMD or equivalent degree License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland

Salary:
$100,000 + 20% production, open to negotiation.
Percentage Based Salary Info:
A base salary of $100,000 with quarterly bonuses of 20% of production over $125,000. Open to negotiation.

Case Load:
We are an exclusively small animal general practice. We see 30 minute appointments and dedicate mornings to surgical procedures. We do not believe in double booking but are happy to see emergencies as time and equipment allows. We highly value personal and professional growth, so if there is something you are passionate about, we are happy to try and make that a reality for you. They owner has an interest in expanding into exotic pets for the right candidate.
