VMD/DVM Positions are available for veterinary associates, and graduates of veterinary medicine. All positions require a graduate degree in veterinary medicine (VMD or DVM).

Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. 2. Performing routine check-ups, preventive care, and routine surgeries. 3. Creating and updating medical records for each patient, including health history and vaccination records. 4. Communicating with clients and pet owners to provide education and advice on pet care and health issues. 5. Prescribing and administering medications, treatments, and therapies as needed. 6. Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, including sterilizing equipment and supplies. 7. Staying up-to-date on the latest advances in veterinary medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities. 8. Collaborating with other veterinary professionals, such as technicians and support staff, to provide high-quality care to patients. 9. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and referring veterinarians.
Qualifications
1. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college. 2. A valid state license to practice veterinary medicine. 3. Clinical experience in small animal care, gained through internships, residencies, or working in a veterinary practice. 4. Knowledge of the latest advancements and techniques in small animal medicine and surgery. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to educate and advise pet owners on their pets' health. 6.

Case Load:
Our busy 3-4 doctor veterinary practice has patients every 30 minutes for the floor DVM, and the surgical DVM performs 3-5 surgical procedures on their chosen surgery day. Each veterinarian typically sees around 15-20 patients daily, ranging from routine check-ups to more complex medical cases. We see many patients with routine and urgent-care matters, from companion animals to pocket pets.
