Responsibilities:
Eastern Lancaster County Veterinary Clinic has an Immediate opening for a full-time associate veterinarian. Come join our 5-person practice servicing small but progressive dairies and equine owners in southeastern Pennsylvania. Daily duties include dairy herd health and preventative medicine; equine preventative medicine, internal medicine, lameness, and reproduction (mostly pleasure horse and plain community horses); small ruminant work; and USDA accreditation duties. Small animal work is on-farm vaccinations and puppy checks. Overnight and holiday emergency duty will be shared equally and will include 1 in 5 weekends. Our regular hours, M-F, are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with one hour in the morning at our office to answer client phone calls and discuss cases with colleagues.

Case Load:
60% dairy, 20%% equine, 10% small ruminant, 10% on-farm puppy checks
