VMD/DVM Positions are available for veterinary associates, and graduates of veterinary medicine. All positions require a graduate degree in veterinary medicine (VMD or DVM).

Responsibilities:
Full time associates will work 4 days per week with rotating Saturdays. We see a combination of wellness, illness and euthanasia appointments. Ideally, 1-2 days per week of surgery (spay/neuter/soft tissue).
Qualifications
PA DVM license, strong communication skills, sound knowledge of canine and feline medicine and surgery, a robust work ethic and a tortile sense of humor.

$115,000 - $160,000

Case Load:
Caseload would depend on what this associate would like or be willing to take on. They would see anywhere from 12-20 cases per day, depending on what length of appointment time they prefer. We have the ability to hospitalize some cases, but work closely with 2-3 referral hospitals in the area as well as 2 urgent care hospitals.

Greenfield Veterinary Hospital has been a staple in this diverse, multi-cultural neighborhood of Pittsburgh since the Steelers won their third Superbowl in 1979. We have well-established clientele, many of which have been bringing their pets to us since we opened our doors. Our city is chock full of year-round activities and includes world-renowned universities, a cultural district, sports teams, and numerous city and state parks, all within a 10-mile radius of GVH. As our associate, you will be accompanied by a fun, quirky, knowledgeable, dedicated staff, and a full-time, hands-on practice manager. We welcome new grads and less experienced DVMs and will happily provide mentorship. Our facility was purpose-built in 2021; we have 6 exam rooms (2 of which are feline-only), lots of fun toys (digital rads, laser, Abaxis in-house labs, in-house TSH, pro-BNP, ACTH, cPl/fPl, video otoscopy and more), separate surgical and dental suites, a doctors library/office.
