Erie Animal Hospital is a busy, 4 doctor, exclusively small animal practice serving Erie Pennsylvania since 1952. Our hospital is cat friendly and declaw free. We are seeking two additional associate veterinarians, and welcome new graduates. The hospital is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 8 pm, and Saturday 8 am to 2 pm. There is no on-call duty since we have a local emergency center open nights, weekends, and holidays. Multiple 24 hour specialty facilities are within 2 hours of Erie. We retain a strong core of dedicated and experienced veterinary technicians and assistants. Our client base is well-established, and often spans several generations.
Equipment includes a GE ultrasound machine with color flow Doppler, digital radiography including dental, IM3 complete dental unit with high speed drill, VetTome, Cardell anesthesia monitors, Lifepak unit, tonopen, cryopen, oxygen generator, full Idexx in-house laboratory, and Cornerstone operating system. Our doctors foster a collaborative environment with mentoring and case discussion on a daily basis. Any professional interests, would be encouraged, such as exotics, orthopedics, laser therapy, acupuncture, physical therapy, etc. A lasting relationship with a new associate is desirable, as ownership opportunity will be offered to a compatible candidate.
