Responsibilities:
Case responsibility with senior clinician oversight at all times; can renegotiate and reevaluate in 6 months and potentially start seeing cases alone if ready. Perform physical exams, interpret diagnostics, build estimates, communicate with clients, maintain good medical records, perform procedures and surgery, assist in major surgical cases, help train assistant and technician staff

Case Load:
Viking Veterinary Hospital is a purpose built Veterinary and Emergency and Critical Care facility in the greater Boise, Idaho area. Due to tremendous growth in the area Emergency Services are in great demand and 15-30+ cases per shift should be expected. We also see General Practice services on an Urgent basis. In the next year we plan to expand into and dedicate staff to GP services and Interns will be encouraged to work with that service as well to gain experience.
