VMD/DVM Positions are available for veterinary associates, and graduates of veterinary medicine. All positions require a graduate degree in veterinary medicine (VMD or DVM).

Responsibilities:
Treat and diagnose an array of animal diseases and illnesses in dogs and cats. Conduct tests and observations to provide proper diagnoses. Prescribe medication. perform an array of surgeries. Communicate with pet parents and provide answers to their questions. Educate pet parents about treatment plans.
Qualifications
Passion for animals' health and wellbeing, VMD or DVM, Excellent verbal communication skills to build rapport with pet parents and fellow employees. Must love to Collaborate on case! We share rounds and continue to grow and learn because of the cases we discuss.

Case Load:
We have 30-minute appointments. Our pet parents are committed and caring owners who will allow us to work up cases and perform many non-routine surgeries. We work closely with the local specialists to further any care we cannot provide ourselves. We do preventive care as well medical management of sick animals. We have several emergency clinics in our area therefore no Emergency hours required. We have many doctors which provides for most weekends off!

Two surgical suites, Dental and special procedures suite, Full in-house bloodwork, Idexx, Under water treadmill, 2 Cold laser units, 2 Ultrasound units, Digital radiography as well as digital dental, Online plumbs Pharmacology book on every doctor's phone, Coagulation profiles in hospital, Ligasure for Cholecystectomies, eye enucleations, spenectomy's, Surgical laser hospital, Gas sterilizer as well as heat sterilizer. We perform many types of abdominal procedures as well as conjunctival flaps, P/U for Tom's, some orthopedics are performed in hospital, but most are referred. You do not need to know all of these procedures but are encouraged to learn.
