Responsibilities:
Seeing patients for yearly exams, vaccines, various illnesses, foreign bodies, lameness, ear problems. Diagnostics, including X-rays, bloodwork, EKG's. Performing surgery for neuters, OVH's, foreign body, dentals, growth removals, etc. Client education and communication.
Qualifications
Applicant must have a VMD and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania.

Salary:
$91,000 - $130,000 Production Bonus 18% - 20% Sign on bonus

Case Load:
Six to eight appointments during appointment time. Morning appointments go from 9:10-12:10, afternoon appointments go from 1:20 - 4:00. Surgeries are done either in morning appointment slots or afternoon appointment slots. When surgery there is there are no appointments for that doctor. There are appointment going on all day, but the doctors either get morning appointments or afternoon appointments. There are no Saturday appointments. There are enough technicians, so every doctor usually has two technicians per appointment slots.

We have an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, EKG, dental x-ray, and cold laser therapy. Delmont Veterinary Hospital is located thirty miles east of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is a city with many opportunities for fun and entertainment. There is the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, Aviary, many theaters, concert venues, museums, amusement parks, state parks, Allegheny, Ohio, and Monongahela Rivers for water sports and regattas. Delmont is also located thirty miles west of the Laurel Highlands, which is home to Frank Lloyd Wrights, Falling Waters, skiing, many winter sports and beautiful scenery.
