We are a small animal veterinary clinic and hospital that has been in business for over 50 years! In addition to our veterinary clinic and hospital services there is an onsite boarding facility (for 30 dogs and a few cats) and an onsite pet groomer (separately owned and operated). We Primarily see dogs and cats and occasionally some exotic pets. As an overview we provide preventative care services - physical exams, vaccines, sterilization surgeries, diagnostic services like radiographs, in house bloodwork, stance analyzation, exploratory surgery and treatment services such as infrared laser treatment, CCL repairs, C-Sections, and much, much more. Our hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7 AM to 6 PM, Wednesdays 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturdays 7 AM to 3 PM. We are closed ALL Sundays and on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Pioneer Day (July 24th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (half day), Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve (half day). We have on call services provided by a veterinarian and a staff member on a rotational basis. We are on call from the time we close until 11 PM. We are on call on Sundays from 7 AM to 11 PM. We do not provide on-call services on holidays. On call rotations for the veterinarians are: Week 1 (2 weekdays close to 11 pm) Week 2 (2 weekdays close to 11 pm) Week 3 (1 weekday + Friday, Saturday, Sunday) We are looking for a veterinarian who understands how critical a good bedside manner is, to maintain a successful practice. Because our veterinarian's bedside manner is so good, we do NOT pay for any advertising. ALL our business comes by word of mouth - meaning, we invest a lot in our clients and the biggest investment is the time we spend listening and then when appropriate responding to client requests and inquiries in a genuine and timely manner. Our clients are our marketing machine and they do not disappoint. $140,000.00 / year to start on day 1 of full-time employment/training.
Percentage Based Salary Info:
A bonus that is revenue-based kicks in after 12-24 months - based upon how quickly the candidate becomes self-sufficient as an associate. Bonus percentage starts at 1% and increases every 2 years by

Selection Process: 1) Schedule an in person or online interview with Aaron Taylor - our practice manager (cachemeadow@gmail.com) 2) If in the interview it is determined that you would like to work for us, we would arrange for an all-expenses paid visit to our clinic and to Cache Valley to see our clinic, meet our veterinarians and enjoy some of what Cache Valley has to offer. Travel, accomodations, food and entertainment that we plan with you would be paid for during your trip. We estimate the recruitment trip to last 2-3 days. 3) If after the recruitment trip you determine that you would really enjoy living in Cache Valley and we determine that you would be the person our team needs, we would extend an offer to you.
Case Load:
70% Dogs, 25% cats, 5% exotics. In a day, a veterinarian will see an average of 14 - 20 clients, depending on urgent scenarios, if the veterinarian is scheduled to have a heavier surgery schedule that day or a heavier appointment schedule that day. Veterinarian schedules rotate so that each veterinarian gets a turn with the various heavy surgery/light appointment or light surgery/heavy appointment days.
Additionally, you would get Paid Time Off, and Paid Sick Days as needed. We pay for all your CE as well as travel and accommodations for CE events as applicable. We pay for the renewal of your License and your AVMA, UVMA annual memberships. We also pay for your AVMA liability insurance and license insurance each year. We provide you a laptop/tablet device of your choosing that can be used for both work and personal use. We pay for your cell phone bill. We provide a couple of offsite clinic activities each year which are 100% paid for. We pay for all your scrub tops, scrub bottoms, jackets, etc and launder them in the clinic if you choose to have that done here.

Most residents of Cache Valley like the small town feel of living in one of Logan's bedroom communities, with the benefits of shopping and entertainment in Logan within 15 minutes of home.
