Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities: DVMs will rotate through all departments which include clinics (sick and wellness visits), soft tissue +/- orthopedic surgery (based on desire and skill set), management of hospitalized cases and shelter animal exams.
Qualifications
VMD or equivalent degree NY State Veterinary License (will reimburse)

Salary:
Commensurate with experience Range $115K-$150K Signing bonus eligible
Percentage Based Salary Info:
We do not pay on production since many of our patients are shelter animals.

We see a very active and challenging caseload through our shelter, medical center and public clinics. We see nearly 25,000 patient visits per year, perform over 8,000 surgeries, and rescue and adopt nearly 6,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens each year.

We provide high quality, affordable veterinary care to our shelter residents as well as both adopted and community pets. Fully equipped, state of the art facilities. In house capabilities include wellness center with rehabilitation suite (including underwater treadmill), dental suite, digital full body and dental radiology (supported with cutting-edge artificial intelligence by SignalPet), endoscopy, class IV therapy laser, 3 GE Versa Active ultrasound machines, fully equipped surgical suite performing both soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, and isolation facility.
