Case Load:
Our caseload is diverse and clinically engaging, consisting of true emergencies, urgent care presentations, and referred surgical cases. On a daily basis, doctors manage a mix of gastrointestinal foreign bodies, GDVs, pyometras, splenic masses, traumatic injuries, laceration repairs, urinary obstructions, endocrine crises, and medically complex internal medicine cases. We also see a steady volume of soft tissue surgical referrals from surrounding practices that prefer to refer advanced or same-day procedures. This creates an environment with consistent hands-on experience and meaningful case variety, while still allowing for collaborative discussion and support among colleagues. Surgery is entirely optional for associates. A veterinarian who prefers to focus on urgent care and medical case management can do so comfortably within our model. For those with an interest in surgery, particularly soft tissue or orthopedics, there is significant opportunity to grow. We are committed to mentorship and are happy to provide guidance in surgical technique, case selection, and perioperative management for doctors who want to expand their skillset and confidence in the operating room. Our goal is to tailor the role to the doctor’s professional interests while maintaining high standards of patient care.
